Daily Admission

Thank you for purchasing tickets to the Children's Museum.

  • Tickets are non-refundable and are valid for one admission to the Children's Museum. If you qualify for discounts such as military, teacher, WIC/Medi-Cal, or EBT, please purchase your tickets in-person at our front desk.
  • We currently offer a $1 discount when you purchase full-price tickets online which will be automatically applied once you add the tickets to your cart.
  • Tickets may be applied to the cost of a membership within two weeks from the day the tickets were used. Some restrictions apply; ask at Front Desk for details.
  • Tickets may not be resold.

 

Please note: The first hour on Sundays and Mondays are reserved for member families only. On those days we will be open to the general public starting at 10am.

Private Playdate Reservations

 

We look forward to welcoming you to a Private Playdate at the Children's Museum. Once you select a date and time, please select the appropriate option below based on the number of expected guests ages 1 year and up and enter a quantity of 1.

Picnic Table Party Reservations

Sensory Friendly Afternoon Reservations


The Children’s Museum of Sonoma County hosts free Sensory Friendly Afternoons exclusively for children with sensory processing differences and their families or caregivers. These Tuesday afternoons are great for children and families to play with hands-on exhibits, explore the Art Studio, and enjoy family time in a safe, accessible, and welcoming environment without the crowds, noise, and bright lights of a typical museum day.

 

RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED for this free event and you may make reservations for up to ten (10) people.

Group Visit Reservation

We look forward to welcoming your school, preschool, childcare, or other non-profit children's organization to a Group Visit at the Children's Museum.

  • Our standard timeframe is 9:30am - 12:30pm. You will have a chance to modify this in the next section.
  • Our maximum group size is 56 students plus chaperones.
  • Price is $16 per student.  All chaperones are free of charge. We require a minimum of 1 adult for every 4 students.
  • If you wish to apply for scholarship funding, you will have a chance to do so in the next section.

Your reservation is not final until you receive an email from us confirming the details.

Dino Trax 2026

  • The Dino Trax event runs from 10am - 2pm both days.
  • The Museum will open at 9am and close at 4pm on the days of the event.
  • Event pricing is $24 / ticket; member pricing $12 / ticket.
  • Tickets are only valid May 16, and May 17, 2026.  They are good for one entry and are not refundable but can be given to anyone you choose.
  • EBT, Medi-Cal, WIC, military and teacher discounts are available at front desk.
  • Discover & Go, CMOSC Fun Passes, Access Passes and other discounts are not accepted during this event.
  • Once your purchase is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with your tickets.  Please check your spam folder.
